We’re back and up and running after a challenging pandemic period.
For our 5th Anniversary tour, of course we visited Chichibu.
As part of the 5th Anniversary celebrations, we took half a dozen whisky enthusiasts to Chichibu Distillery, where we had a full tour of the original distillery followed by a superb tasting line-up.
The Color Joker was the favorite, closely followed by cask samples of oloroso sherry cask and bourbon barrel.
The 2021 Chichibu Edition, a vatting of three Kusuda red wine casks, was a crowd pleaser too. In fact, three of our group were lucky enough to hit the jackpot and buy bottles at a local liquor store’s lottery.
